There is room for a travel cot in the second bedroom. Travel cots are not provided. Highchairs are available.
Unfortunately, we do not allow extra visitors on site, it is important for the comfort and security of all our guests.
Check- In is from 4pm. We ask that guests don’t arrive any earlier to give us time to prepare.
We ask guests to text on arrival day with approximate arrival time.
We don’t have an electric car charging point yet, guests can charge electric cars from the stable with a 3 pin plug. There is a 20.00 charge, this must be selected as an extra before your stay.
There are a number of local taxi firms , it is best to book your journey in advance.
All the main supermarkets deliver to Little North Field: Morrisons, Asda, Tesco, Acado. Dales butcher breakfast and BBQ packs are available to order.
Each tent has its own Weber kettle BBQ, charcoal bags can be purchased on site.
Each tent has its own fire pit area , a fire pit is provided. Wood and kindling can be purchased on site.

Group bookings for all 3 tents must be arranged and authorised by Little North Field.
We are a small family site with a quiet after 10.30pm policy.
Should you cancel your stay more than 30 days before the day of check in, we will retain the non-refundable booking deposit (or 30% of the total of your stay if you’ve already paid in full).
Should you cancel your stay within 30 days of the start date, the balance of your stay remains payable.
In the event of Coronavirus related problems, contact us by email at hello@littlenorthfield.comContact by email must be made no later than 12 noon on the day prior to arrival.
We strongly recommend guests take out UK holiday insurance to cover them in the event that they need to cancel or cut their stay short due to illness or other reasons.
Little North Fields is fantastically placed for accessing the local area.
The site is located off Fountains Road, whilst it is a local road there is commuting and agricultural traffic from our local farming friends at their peak times of year.
We expect all our guests to respect and look after the site and the safari tents. We also ask you to respect your fellow guests and keep noise levels to a minimum after 10pm.
Parents are responsible for their children, and children must be supervised at all times.
Our safari tents are sited in a quiet field. We take our Health and Safety responsibilities very seriously and ask visitors to respect our safety rules.
Two miles down the road, 5 min drive:
Ripley Village has a well stocked small shop(amazing pies and pasties) butchers, cafe, gift shop, pub and post office.
Markington Village Shop also 5 minute drive.
There are all the big supermarkets in Ripon (7 miles) Harrogate (6 miles)
Dales butcher breakfast and BBQ hampers are available to order from Little North Field and will be waiting in your fridge when you arrive.

Please be aware the walk to the pub is on a busy road without a footpath and appropriate care needs to be taken.
Just one of our tents, Foxes Den is dog friendly.
There is a maximum of 2 dogs in this tent.
Please be aware dogs must be kept on a lead while on site, we are in the countryside and livestock is in neighbouring fields.
The site is not 100% secure as there are gaps in the hedgerows.
There is a £25 surcharge per stay for extra cleaning required.
Dogs are not allowed on guest beds and furniture.
You are camping and it can be VERY cold at night!!! Please bring warm sleepwear and torches. Practical footwear for weather eventualities- Wellies!
Slippers for inside the tent as we ask no outdoor shoes in the tents.
Food and drinks for your stay.
Personal toiletries.
The 3 tents have the same layout and facilities.
Bedding and towels- provided, toilet rolls and hand wash provided. Hot water bottles also provided
Log burner- enough wood, kindling, matches, firelighters for fire on first night.
Extras can be purchased on site.
There is no Wi-Fi available in our tents.
The 4G signal is very poor.
So best to download things you might like to watch!
Our site is not pet free , dogs are welcome to stay in The Foxes Den Tent.
It is at the site owners discretion if dogs can stay in other tents at any time.
We ask you vacate the site at 10am so we can make preparations for our next guests.
As we are in a little dip there is not a good signal onsite. We recommend you make calls when out and about!
