Booking Terms & Conditions
Before confirming your booking at Little North Field please take time to read the information below. It includes vital information regarding cancellation policies and the amenities and services at the site, which will assist you with planning your holiday. The guest booking the stay must be 18 years of age or over.
If we are unable to offer accommodation due to circumstances beyond our control, we are not liable for refunds or expenses incurred. We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.
This means if we are prevented, hindered or delayed from performing our obligations due to an event outside our control, including any action or order from the government, we will be relieved of our obligations.
Typical ‘Force Majeure’ events include, but are not limited to, pandemic, terrorism, serious crime, natural disaster, ‘Act of God’, government or public authority action or intervention, law and travel restrictions.
We ask that all guests adhere to the site map in regard to where access is permitted. Please see our site map.
As owners we live on site and ask guests to respect our family privacy accessing permitted areas as displayed on site map, there is a copy of site map in each tent.
By booking and coming to Little North Field you agree to be responsible for your children and any other children you carry in your care. Also taking care of your own welfare and take all reasonable precautions against any personal injury, injury to others and damage to the facilities and tents. The site has a large pond and located beside a busy road, children must be supervised at all times in all areas.
We want all our guests to enjoy a peaceful relaxing stay with us. As all the tents are in close proximity we do not allow any music or radios outside the tents. As there maybe young children sleeping we ask all guests to be aware of noise made around the campfires at night. We ask that guests keep noise to a minimum after 10:30pm and before 8am, in consideration of others. You are staying in a canvas lodge and noise will carry. Please use headphones if you wish to listen to music or any other devices outside your tent.
In exceptional circumstances we reserve the right to ask your party to leave if there is repeated noise after you have received two warnings from us as you will have breached the terms of your contract with, no refunds will be forthcoming.
Guests agree to inform the owners of any damage or loss however caused, excluding reasonable wear and tear incurred during occupation. Guests should not remove any item from the property. The owner may ask for reasonable replacement costs. Charges for damaged or missing items may be made to the payment card used at the time of booking.
Guests will find an inventory in their pod when they arrive. The inventory lists the items in each tent and the cost to replace missing, broken, damaged or melted items. Items not paid for before guests’ departure will be charged, without prior notice, to the card used at the time of booking.
We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur to your car or associated property whilst on Little North Field site, except where such loss or damage has arisen as a result of our negligence or a breach of our duty to you.
If you have a problem with your accommodation during your stay please advise us as we would like the opportunity to resolve it as soon as possible. Please let us know of any damage, breakages or maintenance issues that you come across.
We take all comments from our guests seriously and in the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint you can contact us by phone or email and we will respond. We will try to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
Extra visitors who are not staying on-site are not permitted to visit Little North Field. This is to safeguard the comfort and security of all our guests.
Check-in is from 3pm. We ask that guests don’t arrive early so we have time to prepare. We are unable to accept check-ins after 10pm.
Check out is up to 10.30am.Late checkout may incur additional charges if not arranged in advance.
We do not accept stag or hens parties; but should you wish to book for a special occasion please let us know when you book.
The whole site may be hired out by family groups for special get-togethers. Please enquire by phone or email for availability.
Whilst we love dogs and have our own, unfortunately we cannot accept dogs due to it not being practical to have dogs on site.
There is absolutely no smoking (including e-cigarettes) permitted either in the safari tents, or on your patio. There is an ashtray on the outside of the stables. Please ensure you put all cigarette ends in the ashtrays provided. Do not leave cigarette ends on your patio or on the decking.
There is a designated gravelled parking area located immediately after you drive on site. You cannot park beside your tent, the distance from car park to the tent is approximately 20 – 50 metres. Only one vehicle per tent, except by prior arrangement.
Campfires and guests’ own barbecues are not permitted on site; only in the designated fire bowls.
Fuel for our fire pits and barbecues must be bought from Little North Field – guests’ own wood or charcoal is not permitted. The fire bowl supplied may only be used in the designated areas for safety reasons.
Safari Tents must be left as clean and tidy as when you found them, and cleaning products will be left for your use. This includes the sink area, crockery, cutlery, pans, utensils, and barbecue equipment. Bins need to be emptied and sorted into the bins near the car park.
Little North Field reserves the right to enter and inspect the pods at any time. If a tent is left in an unsatisfactory condition or deliberately damaged in any way, we reserve the right to charge costs to the payment method on booking.
In the event of cancellations or no-shows, we do not offer any (either full or partial) refund.
In the unlikely event of cancellation of your booking by us – if we are unable to provide the booked holiday and have to cancel before the holiday is due to start – you are entitled to a full refund of the money you have paid. You may also choose alternative dates.
To secure your booking, a non refundable deposit of 20% of the cost of your stay is required.
Full payment is required at the time of booking if your stay is less than six weeks away.
The remaining balance must be paid in full six weeks before your stay. The remaining balance will be taken automatically from your booking card six weeks before your stay. You’ll receive a reminder email the day before the payment is due and a confirmation email once payment is taken.
We accept most major debit/credit cards.
TRAVEL INSURANCE- We strongly recommend that you take out UK travel insurance when you make your booking.
