Booking Terms & Conditions

Before confirming your booking at Little North Field please take time to read the information below.  It includes vital information regarding cancellation policies and the amenities and services at the site, which will assist you with planning your holiday. The guest booking the stay must be 18 years of age or over.

Cancellation/ No Show/ Force Majeure2022-02-03T13:46:23+00:00

In the event of no-shows, we do not offer any (either full or partial) refund. We strongly recommend that you take out UK travel insurance when you make your booking.

Cancellation

Should you cancel your stay more than 30 days before the day of check in, we will retain the non-refundable booking deposit (or 30% of the total of your stay if you’ve already paid in full).

Should you cancel your stay within 30 days of the start date, the balance of your stay remains payable.

In the event of Coronavirus related problems, contact us by email at hello@littlenorthfield.comContact by email must be made no later than 12 noon on the day prior to arrival.

In the event of cancellation of your booking by Little North Field– for any on-site health and safety or quality-related issue (such as disruption to water supply) – you are entitled to a full refund of the money you have paid. You may also opt to change your booking to another date, subject to availability. Any additional cost relating to a change of dates would be payable.

Any liability arising from the cancellation of your stay by Little North Field for whatever reason, is strictly limited to the total sum paid to us by you.

In the event that Little North Field is forced to closed (eg due to a Coronavirus lockdown), you will be invited to choose new dates for your stay. Refunds will not be issued. (See Force Majure below.Little North Field gift vouchers are non-refundable, and we do not permit any persons to sell or trade our gift vouchers. The dates of bookings paid for fully, or in part, with a Little North Filed gift voucher may be amended, provided the changes are made at least 30 days before the start of the stay. If the stay is cancelled less than 30 days before the holiday start date, no part of the booking will be refunded and the dates may not be moved.

Booking date amendments

If the start of your stay is more than 30 days away, we will allow you to move your booking to an alternative date, subject to availability. Any additional cost relating to a change of dates would be payable. To request a date change, email hello@littlenorthfield.com

We will not move booking dates within 30 days of the start of your stay.

Force Majeure

Typical ‘Force Majeure’ events include, but are not limited to, pandemic, terrorism, serious crime, natural disaster, ‘Act of God’, government or public authority action or intervention, law, and travel restrictions.

If we are unable to offer accommodation due to circumstances beyond our control, we are not liable for refunds or expenses incurred. We recommend that you have adequate UK holiday insurance in place to cover this.

This means if we are prevented, hindered, or delayed from performing our obligations due to an event outside our control, including any action or order from the government, we will be relieved of our obligations. In the event of this happening, we will offer guests the opportunity to change the dates of their stay. We will not offer refunds.

Bookings made under the ‘Coronavirus Booking Guarantee’

Bookings made between 28/01/2020and 31/10/2021 were made under Bedful’s ‘Coronavirus Booking Guarantee’. This guarantee still applies to bookings made between those dates. The terms of the guarantee are:

  • If government restrictions mean that your stay cannot go ahead for legal reasons, we will give guests the flexibility to move their dates.
  • Due to the flexible rebooking policy, the low deposit and late balance payments, no refunds are available to the customer on any funds paid to the Little North Field (either the deposit or the balance payment).
  • If the customer fails to pay the balance by 30 days prior to the holiday start date, the deposit may be deemed to be forfeited by Little North Field and the booking cancelled. In such an event, the flexible rebooking policy will no longer apply.
  • The customer must notify Little North Field  by 12 noon of the day prior to the start date of the holiday (the ‘rebooking deadline’) if they wish to make use of the flexible rebooking policy.
  • If the customer does not notify Little North Field by the rebooking deadline, it will be assumed that the holiday will be going ahead and therefore the flexible rebooking policy will no longer apply. In that event, if the customer does not subsequently check in on the holiday start day, the full payment will be forfeited and no refunds will be made, in line with the clear and express terms of this Guarantee.

Any deviation from these clear and express terms are entirely at the discretion of Little North Field with the exception of subsequent local or national restrictions being imposed after the rebooking deadline, in which case the flexible rebooking policy would still be applied.

The flexible rebooking policy is only available for cancellations related to genuine Coronavirus restrictions and we may request evidence. Flexible rebooking is not available for cancellations related to weather or other reasons.

In the event that the customer uses the flexible rebooking policy and chooses a date where the same accommodation is only available at a higher price, the additional prevailing rate for the stay will be due.

Little North Field Glamping is not a pet free site.

Its is at the owners discretion which tents allow dogs.

The owners can change at anytime which tents allow dogs.

To look after our tents we ask guests to remove muddy/dirty footwear before entering tent.

No barbecuing/cooking/fire-pits  are allowed on wooden deck area.

Guests must not use their own fuel for the firepit or BBQ, wood/charcoal must be purchased on site.

No smoking in tent or on decked area.

No music should be played outside the tents.

 

Booking Date Amendments2022-02-02T15:52:02+00:00

If your stay is more than 30 days away, we will allow you to move your booking to an alternative date, subject to availability. Any additional cost to the change will be payable.

 

We will not move booking dates, within 30 days of the start of your stay.

 

Whole site bookings- all 3 tents you may move to an alternative date if your stay is more than 8 weeks away. We will not move your  whole site booking dates within 8 weeks of your stay.

By booking and coming to Little North Field you agree to be responsible for your children and any other children you carry in your care. Also taking care of your own welfare and take all reasonable precautions against any personal injury, injury to others and damage to the facilities and tents. The site has a large pond and located beside a busy road, children must be supervised at all times in all areas.

We want all our guests to enjoy a peaceful relaxing stay with us. As all the tents are in close proximity we do not allow any music or radios outside the tents. As there maybe young children sleeping we ask all guests to be aware of noise made around the campfires at night. We ask that guests keep noise to a minimum after 10:30pm and before 8am, in consideration of others. You are staying in a canvas lodge and noise will carry. Please use headphones if you wish to listen to music or any other devices outside your tent.

In exceptional circumstances  we reserve the right to ask your party to leave if there is repeated noise after you have received two warnings from us as you will have breached the terms of your contract with, no refunds will be forthcoming.

Damage, Loss & Theft2022-02-03T13:49:41+00:00

Guests agree to inform the owners of any damage or loss however caused, excluding reasonable wear and tear incurred during occupation. Guests should not remove any item from the property. The owner may ask for reasonable replacement costs. Charges for damaged or missing items may be made to the payment card used at the time of booking.

Guests will find an inventory in their  tent when they arrive. The inventory lists the items in each tent and the cost to replace missing, broken, damaged or melted items. Items not paid for before guests’ departure will be charged, without prior notice, to the card used at the time of booking.

We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur to your car or associated property whilst on Little North Field site, except where such loss or damage has arisen as a result of our negligence or a breach of our duty to you.

If you have a problem with your accommodation during your stay please advise us as we would like the opportunity to resolve it as soon as possible.  Please let us know of any damage, breakages or maintenance issues that you come across.

We take all comments from our guests seriously and in the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint you can contact us by phone or email and we will respond.  We will try to resolve any issues as soon as possible.

Extra visitors who are not staying on-site are not permitted to visit Little North Field. This is to safeguard the comfort and security of all our guests.

Check-in is from 4pm. We ask that guests don’t arrive early so we have time to prepare. We are unable to accept check-ins after 10pm.

Check out is up to 10am.Late checkout may incur additional charges if not arranged in advance.

We do not accept stag or hens parties; but should you wish to book for a special occasion please let us know when you book.

The whole site may be hired out by family groups for special get-togethers. Please enquire by phone or email for availability.

One of our tents Foxes Den is dog friendly.

There is a pet charge of  25.00.

Dogs must be kept on a lead whilst on site.

Dogs are not permitted in sofa/beds/outside furniture.

Our site is not pet free and it is at the owners discretion to change at any time which tents allow dogs.

There is absolutely no smoking (including e-cigarettes) permitted either in the safari tents, or on your  patio. There is an ashtray on the outside of the stables. Please ensure you put all cigarette ends in the ashtrays provided. Do not leave cigarette ends on your patio or on the decking.

There is a designated gravelled parking area located immediately after you drive on site. You cannot park beside your tent, the distance from car park to the tent is approximately 20 – 50 metres. Only one vehicle per tent, except by prior arrangement.

Campfires & BBQs2019-05-30T19:50:34+00:00

Campfires and guests’ own barbecues are not permitted on site; only in the designated fire bowls.

Fuel for our fire pits and barbecues must be bought from Little North Field – guests’ own wood or charcoal is not permitted. The fire bowl supplied may only be used in the designated areas for safety reasons.

Safari Tents must be left as clean and tidy as when you found them. This includes the sink area, crockery, cutlery, pans, utensils, and barbecue equipment. Bins need to be emptied and sorted into the bins near the car park.

Little North Field reserves the right to enter and inspect the tents at any time.  If a tent is left in an unsatisfactory condition or deliberately damaged in any way, we reserve the right to charge costs to the payment method on booking.

CANCELLATION

Should you cancel your stay more than 30 days before the day of check-in, we will retain the booking deposit (or 30% of total of your stay, if you’ve already paid in full).

Should you cancel your stay within 30 days of the start date, the balance of your payment remains payable. Holiday dates may not be moved. Your non refundable deposit, will not be refunded.

IN the event of coronavirus related problems please contact us by email, no later than 12 noon the day before your stay.

In the unlikely event of cancellation of your booking by us – if we are unable to provide the booked holiday-due to onsite health and safety issues or quality related issues such as disruption to electricity supply and have to cancel before the holiday is due to start – you are entitled to a full refund of the money you have paid. You may also choose alternative dates.

Any liability arising from the cancellation of your stay by Little North Field, for whatever reason, is strictly limited to the total sum paid to us by you.

 

 

 

Bookings made under ‘Coronavirus Booking Guarantee’. 13/01/21- 31/10/21 Terms

  • A low deposit of 30% to secure the booking
  • The balance payment will not be due till 30 days before the start of your holiday
  • Complete flexibility to move bookings over the next 12 months in the event of Coronavirus restrictions
  • Due to low deposit and late balance, no refunds will be offered

The guarantee is aimed to give guests confidence to book and know that they can rearrange dates if Coronavirus restrictions mean that their stay cannot go ahead when they originally planned.

If your stay is unable to go ahead, we’ll send you a rebooking link to choose your new dates.

To secure your booking, a non refundable deposit of 30% of the cost of your stay is required.You also may choose to pay the full balance at the time of booking.

Full payment is required at the time of booking if your stay is less than 30 days away.

The remaining balance must be paid in full 30 days before your stay. You’ll receive a reminder email with a payment link a few days before the balance is due.

If the balance is not paid in full by the due date, Little North Field reserve the right to re-let the safari tent and retain the deposit.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE- We strongly recommend that you take out UK travel insurance when you make your booking.

The guest booking the stay must be 18 years of age or over. There must be at least one adult aged 18 or over staying in each safari tent.
